The Creation of Mothers

By the time the Lord made mothers, He was into the sixth day working overtime. An Angel appeared and said “Why are you spending so much time on this one?”

And the Lord answered and said, “Have you read the spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not elastic; have 200 movable parts, all replaceable; run on black coffee and leftovers; have a lap that can hold three children at one time and that disappears when she stands up; have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart; and have six pairs of hands.”

The Angel was astounded at the requirements for this one. “Six pairs of hands! No way!” said the Angel.

The Lord replied, “Oh, it’s not the hands that are the problem. It’s the three pairs of eyes that mothers must have!”

“And that’s on the standard model?” the Angel asked.

The Lord nodded in agreement, “Yep, one pair of eyes are to see through the closed door as she asks her children what they are doing even though she already knows. Another pair in the back of her head are to see what she needs to know even though no one thinks she can. And the third pair are here in the front of her head. They are for looking at an errant child and saying that she understands and loves him or her without even saying a single word.”

The Angel tried to stop the Lord “This is too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish.”

“But I can’t!” The Lord protested, “I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick and can feed a family of six on a pound of hamburger and can get a nine year old to stand in the shower.”

The Angel moved closer and touched the woman, “But you have made her so soft, Lord.”

“She is soft,” the Lord agreed, “but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish.”

“Will she be able to think?” asked the Angel.

The Lord replied, “Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason, and negotiate.”

The Angel then noticed something and reached out and touched the woman’s cheek. “Oops, it looks like You have a leak with this model. I told You that You were trying to put too much into this one.”

“That’s not a leak.” the Lord objected. “That’s a tear!”

“What’s the tear for?” the Angel asked.

The Lord said, “The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her disappointment, her pain, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride.”

The Angel was impressed. “You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything for this one. You even created the tear!”

The Lord looked at the Angel and smiled and said, “I’m afraid you are wrong again. I created the woman, but she created the tear!”

Identifying Your Problem

Are you running away from your problem? Are you pressured by your problems? Do you feel like you have been carrying problems for your whole life? Are you saying yes to all this questions? If yes, are you going to do something about your problems? Maybe try to clear your problems? If you're goin to say no, then you are putting in a lifetime mess. That sure isn't nice to be living in mess forEVER!

The reason why most people live their life feeling depressed, scared, and insecure is that they didn't do anything about their problems. When problem comes and block their way, they right away GIVE UP, RUN AWAY, or even END their LIFE. Are you gonna be like them? or are you actually one of them who are doing one of those 3 options to avoid their problems. You know what? YOU MUST DEAL with YOUR PROBLEMS! "Oo no I can't do that" why? "I just can't it's too big it scares me to death" what's that? "My problems, there's too many of them" so these problems of yours, what are they specifically? "I don't know, it's too big and too many." You see that? Basically you're afraid of something that you don't know, it's because there's too many of problems coming your way, you decided to take a thousand steps away from them.

You should stop, turn around, face your problems, and start deal with them 1 by 1. It's like solving a math problem, you got to know what the question is asking you, what it wants you to do in order to solve the problem. So instead of running away from your problem you should try to understand what your problem is in order to solve it. Sometimes problems may seem to have no solution, but it doesn't mean that you should just leave it there, maybe that problem want to tell you something.

Problem and life exist in a cooperative way. Just as life can teach us about something so does a problem. Problem makes us think/use our brain, it helps the mind to develop and go to the next level, it keeps us moving. It would be nice to say that "we can live without problem" but is not actually the truth. Problems make us move out of our comfort zone, in fact comfort zone could also be a problem. When we feel too comfortable about who we are, we tend to ignore others and their advice that could help us become a better person, and when we ignore those people and their advice, we begin to ignore our surrounding after that we become ignorant then it makes us become the PROBLEM in our community, soon everyone in the area would want us out of the community or DEAD. Ewwh...scary, that's why those problems are there to change us to become a better person for our community and for others.

Problems make us mature, it can teach us about life, it change us, it shows that we are alive. Always identify your problems, that way you'll know how to deal with it and solve it. Problem will always be there, but have faith, every problem have a solution. Don't let your problem defeat you, don't let it keep you from chasing your dream, but identify your problem, find out what your problem is. Know your problems, after you found out what your problem is asking you to do, then you're getting closer to the solution. So are you still gonna run from your problems?

Learning From Mistakes

Mistakes, everybody is doing their best to avoid that word, its like we want everything to be perfect, in fact i was thinking really hard to make sure that i wont make a mistake when i wrote this post. All of us will give our 110 % effort in life to avoid mistakes but sometimes no matter how hard we try, still we made mistakes it feels like we're never gonna get it right. We call ourselves stupid because of our mistakes. Wait! That's wrong! Mistakes doesn't make us stupid, it makes us human. As humans it is understandable that we make mistakes. Mistakes are bad, yeah we got that, no matter what, we know that mistakes are bad, but mistake will remain bad if we do nothing about it. These mistakes will become something good if we learn from it. When we made a mistake is easy to feel depressed, stupid, and useless then it it puts us down. We shouldn't let that mistake become a weigh that is pressing us down but we need to transform that mistake to become a spring or a stepping stone that will
bring us up to another level, to do that we need to learn from our mistakes. Most people are clever because they learn from their mistakes and do it right the next time, while most people are foolish/stupid because they never learn from their mistakes, and carelessly choose to do it again and again. You see to be clever or stupid is our choices, you have to choose either one, if you decide not to choose any of them, it means that you choose not to learn from your mistakes and we know what that makes you. So, the next time you make mistake, don't feel down right away, just think about what you did and what can you learn from it, then you do it right next time. Don't forget we're just people, and people make mistakes, smart people learn from it and do it right next time, while stupid people. . .oh well we know what they do.

Following Instructions

In life there is a sets or steps of instructions that we should follow in order to complete our tasks, jobs, or goals. We've been instructed a lot of times to follow those steps of instructions carefully, but while doing so, sometimes we get distracted by our surroundings.
These distraction cause us to miss one steps or even more, and yet we kept on going, ignoring those steps that we miss. Then someone came and asked,
"why didn't you follow the instructions?" or "why did you skip that step?" We would usually reply with, "ow yeah ah that's ok, i got this, don't worry it's my thing, so it's all good." Little that we know those missing steps are slowly or maybe rapidly affecting our work progress. In the end it may costs us our jobs, our family, our relationship, our feeling, or even our life.
We didn't like to follow instructions because they're just boring, or in our expression we would say, "Instructions are for dummies", but guess what? even a great soldier follow the Commander's Instruction. There's always an instruction for everything that we do in life, instructions for cooking, driving, doing sport, cleaning, building, even for pilots there are instructions for Take Off, Flying, and Landing the plane, notice that these instructions were actually made for our own safety.
It doesn't really matter if you can do something better, faster, or nicer, as long as you do it right by the instructions, everything will go smooth and safe(your safety). So let's start following instructions carefully and don't worry if you miss a step, just go back and do it again. Well if you don't wanna do it again or start over, in that case, let's be really focus in following instructions, don't let ANYTHING distract us.
